We didn’t exactly plan to, but somehow we became a brand that writes about our favorite clothes and products and makeup and house things and a bunch of other stuff we love. In fact, once it became the most popular content on our site, we created an entire section on our site called PRODUCTS found here.
We still looooove writing about how deeply complex marriage is and the maddeningly confusing world of wellness, but we realized that there are SO FEW SITES that write about beauty and style from an OVER-40 perspective that we just had to be that site for you. For us! We buy all the stuff we write about, too! Too much of it in fact!
And so we thought we’d show you a little peak behind the curtain of what resonated most with all of you this past year. It’s QUITE the mix of things, but everything is sort of life-changing so the list makes sense.

Ah, J. Crew. Horrific in store, heaven online. These pants are so stretchy and easy, they’re basically sweatpants you can wear to work.

We really understand why this shirt sells constantly. We all own this shirt. It fits perfectly. It’s slightly cropped and therefore 50% more flattering around the waist. And it makes us all feel French. What more does one want from a shirt? Although, we must tell you that there is also a sliiiiightly shorter version that we actually love even more that you can find HERE.

We were sent this product for free by the brand, and we then approached them for a code because we were so wowed by its results. And since then, we’ve bought it for everyone in our lives (with our own money) because it’s our favorite oil on earth. These before and after photos are staggering.

6. Bioderma Atoderm Cleansing Oil
We wrote about our favorite French Pharmacy products on Amazon and this is at the top of the list. So lovely and easy to plunk this down in the shower and have a face and body wash all in one that makes our skin smoother than a baby’s bum.
