There’s something deeply satisfying about plucking out the genuine “finds” from the the exhausting void that is Amazon.
Weeding through all the atrociously styled, poorly photoshopped photos until, all of a sudden, you see that one thing that does not look like it has any business being on Amazon.
We recently had a series of these aha moments when scouring Amazon for a few key items for fall. What we actually found was 15 perfect pieces that, when neatly stacked in our cart, turned out to be nothing short of a complete capsule wardrobe for our favorite season.
Needless to say, we wanted to share the wealth.
1. The Smart Cardigan
This cardi might conjure images of THIS iconic sweater look from Katie Holmes (which, by the way, goes for nearly 2k), but even if these words mean nothing to you, this sweater will be your quick, little passport to chicdom all season long. The shape has it doubling as a top, and it comes in every lusty, neutral color you could want. Though we kind of want it in pink as well.

2. The Most Flattering Fall Jeans
We all need that one wildly complementary, easy and LONG pair of jeans to live in all through the chilly season. These are classic Levi jeans at their best. They lengthen our legs while balancing curves like no other denim style. With the above sweater and below flats - perfection.

3. The Leopard Ballet Flat
Admittedly, these are a wee bit pricier than most Amazon fare but what can you expect from a perfectly crafted, lambskin and soft suede ballet flat that would cost twice as much anywhere else?

4. The Classic Wool Coat
The fact that we can pretty much wear any slobby sweat set, throw this coat over it, and immediately look chic is one of the great gifts of autumn. If you don’t have a staple black coat, it’s great in black. Otherwise, go for one of the pretty shades of camel or khaki, which are so pretty over a cream pullover or turtleneck (both which are on this list by the way).

With your long, drapey, wide-leg trousers, you’ll look like you spent $1000 on your look.

And here is the elegant, French trench we’ve imagined owning ever since THIS one entered our instagram ads and kept selling out before our eyes. The plaid lining makes us weak. Needless to say, we’ve never added anything to cart faster.

Oh just an exquisitely shaped, BLOCK-HEEL boot to support our tired ankles and make us look like we can conquer the world. Nbd.
